Wow! Best Reuben sandwich I have ever had. Flavorful meat, outstanding kraut/slaw, tasty bread, not at all greasy or overstuffed. The smash burger was also absolutely delicious. It's rare to get such good food in any restaurant. Love the wooden booths, beautiful bar and frozen in time vibe of the place.

Cute local spot and surprisingly not busy for Sunday brunch. They have a $30 prix fix menu for brunch that includes a beer, bloody mary, or mimosa, appetizer and a main. Great value! The chicken liver mousse was decent and the biscuits with Memphis style gravy was ok. The gravy tasted cheesy, which I was not expecting. Like a lot of small businesses now, there is a fee that they clearly state on the check if you pay with a card. Service was great!

We found this little gem of a restaurant after a four hour hiking in the bear mountains. Let me tell you, we were starvinngggggggg. The reviews look great so we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, I was first grasped by the arty theme, some unique carving and paintings on the wall, give you a Wild West feel. We were immediately waited and did not have to wait too long for our food to arrive. In terms of the food, I absolutely loved my double patty smash burger. Juicy and yummy. The appetizer lentil soup was soothing, perfect for a Fall day.

Good pub-type food with nice outdoor seating. 4 of us went for dinner around 7pm on a Sunday. The inside is pretty run-down looking but the outdoor area, where we sat, is nice and shaded. They have a good assortment of local beers on tap and in bottles/cans. Two of our party ordered burgers (Birdsall burger and Smash burger). Both said they are good, straight-up burgers, cooked just right. They really liked the fries. Another person got the reuben. Again, it was good and she said the fries were great. I tried the special pork belly sliders, three small sliders on nice, soft potato buns. They were excellent. I also got the beet salad. It was very large and had lots of goodies. The service was very attentive and the prices seemed reasonable. All in all, thumbs up for Birdsall House.

The service was very good and helpful. The food in general was good and had nice flavor. One rare burger came out raw. The other rare burger was fine. I had the roasted pulled chicken sandwich. Which was really tasty. The chicken wings were flavorful and had a nice smoky flavor. The sides and sauces accompanied food nicely.

They have outdoor seating and plenty of room. Don't get that crowded rushed feeling. Not at all. Very relaxed!!' Food was DARN Good! Smoked wings were sooo yummy and they bring out three sauces for you. Mind you the rub it's already cooked is was very tasty! House fries yummy! Smash burger was awesome as well as their Maple burger. Beer selection is outstanding! My only disgruntlement was my drink didn't have BIG ice!!! lol. Snob! But all in all this was a darn good eat and drink. Two thumbs up and absolutely, I'll be back!!!!

The perfect smash burger doesn't exi-- Yes It does, and it's here. I'm not typically a huge burger fan but this was so so good. Two patties, good amount of cheese ratio, and a yummy sauce inside. Melts in your mouth! All of their sauces are house made: the ranch & mustard were my fav. Also, these fries are just about the most perfectly salted, crispy but soft fries out there. So so good

I walked into Birdsall House on a Thursday night with my wife. This place looks so unassuming. The inside feels like a bar like atmosphere. The menu seemed interesting. The food was really terrific and worth every penny. The service was quick and very friendly. I would definitely comeback here again. The bartenders are really nice and they make really great drinks. I tried one of the local craft beers that they let me sample. It is a place I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Birdsall House for great craft beer, decent cocktails and delicious food! I recently tried the vegan seitan gyro and the vegan cauliflower wings. For house-made seitan made at a non-vegan establishment I was pretty impressed! It is a bit spongey but super flavorful and if you're vegan dining with non vegans I think you'd be satisfied. The cauliflower wings were delicious and even my non-vegan husband loved those. Next time I can't wait to try their jackfruit crabcake Po' boy! The cocktails were OK- not bad just maybe a bit bland. The wine on tap was delicious and you can't go wrong with a draft beer. The inside is a bit outdated but the patio is delightful. It is on a busy street so can get noisy. Overall I think if you're vegan Birdsall House is definitely worth a trip. Update* I also recently tried the vegan jackfruit po boy sandwich and it was also delicious! The vegan remoulade was perfectly balanced and had a little kick!
